Why do my Galaxy S6 location services turn off?

Galaxy S6 Location services turns off

The recent location requests always seem to be Google play services, Google location services, and or mapmyrun or recent weather app. How do I fix it so location not always lost once phone goes to lock screen ?

Go into system settings > location. Make sure the setting is set to "high accuracy". Also, if you have a battery saving application or mode enabled that may also be the source of disabling GPS/location when the phone turns off. Disable that or change the setting to be less aggressive.
