why do my settings keep changing?!

[Android Central Question]

Over the last week or so I've noticed my phone's settings keep changing.

1. The phone and Camera shortcuts disappear from the lock screen.

2. The display / notification bar at the top becomes white and hard to see

3. Battery percentage disappears

4. screen timeout reverts to 30 seconds

5. haptick feedback is re-enabled

6 I'm getting "security log agent" notifications that all of a sudden asking me to send security reports and other stuff i probably haven't noticed.


I've tried hard resetting the phone and clearing the cache from the 3 green phone icons in system apps and device maintenance and every time I restart the phone the settings change back... i don't have the "optimize settings" option or "device care" option I've seen on other posts.

Try clearing cache in Recovery, if still persist then safe mode .
