Why do phone calls not show up but you'll get a voice mail of a call?

Any one know what causes this? Happens randomly. It'll pop up with the new voicemail notification but there wont be a missed call.

This was happening to me also for the 2-3 weeks after the 2.2 update. My texts were being affected also. I called verizon tech support....they transferred me to "level 2 tech support." I was told to shut down while an update was sent to my phone...then restart, then *228 #2. No problems since.

I can tell you that all of these fixes are standard prescribed fixes for all Verizon phones fascinate or other.. This does not pertain directly to the phone you are using nor the operating system.

Conversations with several subscribers across the country and spectrum of phones all have the same problem..

This is a network issue. The fixes may work for some.. I have found that they give a placebo affect to the user.

I have yet to find a durable fix..
