Why do RT need and REUTERS not work on my pixel on wifi?

[Android Central Question]

I have a pixel 1 which generally works fine. However the apps for RT news and REUTERS will not work when I am on wifi but do when I am in data. I have tried reinstalling but no change. The just show the circle thing going round and round.

I think that I registered with Facebook now. It is my home wifi where it doesn't work. I can try others some time but I think it doesn't work on others too.

See if you can get to Reuters on a PC or laptop - your ISP may have a problem in their path to Reuters' servers. (That's usually a temporary thing - a line goes down, so the routers on the internet have to learn the new routing. It usually doesn't take more than about 48 hours. (Remember, the internet was designed for "eveutually", not "immediately".)

If it persists more than a few days, contact reutersmobile.support@thomsonreuters.com, support@reuters.tv, or the support email for whichever app is giving you the problem.
