A
Android Central Question
I have a device running Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). My understanding is that Chrome stopped being supported on Jelly Bean in the Fall 2018 timeframe. At that time I had the latest supported version of Chrome on my device (from 2018, I assume) and browsing worked fine. I then needed to uninstall updates from multiple apps, including Chrome, to fix a battery drain issue on the device. Now the latest version that of Chrome that will update from the Google Play Store is a 2015 version that constantly gives "Aw Snap" errors. Could anyone tell me why Google doesn't make the last Chrome version that supported Jelly Bean available on the Play Store for those that still have Jelly Bean? If Google will not make that available, is there a safe way to obtain the last version of Chrome that supported Jelly Bean? Thanks...
