Why does airplane mode never work the first try?

Anyone else have to click it at least twice to get it to take? It's like it catches at some point, it disables the mobile data but not the signal entirely, and then if I press it again then it goes into airplane mode. If this is a "feature" it's a stupid one.

It seems to do this to me sometimes... It'll turn all the way off, it just takes time.

Same here, no problem with that. Do wish there was a way to put it on a timer to turn it back off... I've forgotten a couple of times and missed phone calls

Are you using Green Power or another battery management app that overrides your manual WiFi shut-off or other radios?

My Airplane mode works fine every time. I do suggest however after turning airplane mode off to reboot the phone for proper internet services operation, sometimes they screw up after airplane mode a soft reset will fix any issues just in case.

Haven't had a problem and I've already used it several times.
