Android Central Question

Facebook sucks and is not needed and now that we have no choice wether we want it on our phones that means they are controlling it and using it to spy on us. Just some truth speaking right there believe me or not all I know is I'm not nor ever will be a pawn in this broken system

Just some truth speaking right there...

No, that's just conspiracy theory. Most phones come with pre-installed apps of some sort, not just Facebook. It's just a money game for the manufacturers and carriers for what amounts to marketing.

If you don't like Facebook, I don't blame you. Simply uninstall or disable it if you don't want it. If you don't have an account with them, then you can't log in anyway and they won't get your info. They are not spying, nor controlling your phone.

But since you probably won't believe me, just keep in mind that Google is tracking you even more. I wouldn't go to Apple either if you think you'd be safe from tracking there. Advertising is the name of the game these days, and the major players all have ways to track your online usage. So if you are this paranoid, then your only option is to basically live off the grid and never go online.

Welcome to Android Central! There are still plenty of phones that don't have Facebook preinstalled. Pixel phones don't, and I would imagine that Android One phones don't either.

Neither did my Motorola. The only make offered in my network*'s online shop that resisted the pressure to preload inessential apps (and to kill the 3G switch as a way of promoting the 4G I can't get).
