why does google play not work in my phone?

I have a lava iris 406q , rooted it with kingo root PC , and used link2sd app to send and link all my apps to my SD card.I also tried to link Google apps such as YouTube,maps and play store.Now , chrome does not responds,YouTube is OK and main problem, when I log into google play,it shows can't establish a reliable connection to the server , it may be a temporary problem or your device....and blah blah blah. Please, Help me.

Hi and welcome to Android Central, normally that error message is associated with poor WiFi or mobile data signal, I presume you have a decent signal?
