Why does "Hands free mode " keep turning on by Itself when I get home

I bought a set of "blue tooth" wireless head phones awhile ago and I paired them but unfortunately they didn't work out so I returned them. Now every time I return home&encounter my home WiFi, the "Hands free mode " pops up automatically on my phone and I can't find a way to stop it from happening And the only way i can shut off "hands free mode" is to do it manually. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
