Why does my android always play music every time i get a call?

Every time I get an incoming call on my android LG7, I hear music playing in the background. It is always the same music. I never used to hear it but I do now for the last couple of months or more. I don't hear it if I make the call.

Is this your music or some thing you don't know and don't have stored on your phone?

The next obvious question would be did you install a music player around that time or change any setting in a player you already have?

While it is odd that it would play while the device is on a call, usually calls take priority and silence all other players, I have seen in the past players that start when the speaker is opened. It may not be doing it when you call out because of the protocol in how a call is made, but the incoming call initiates the speaker because it has to play the ring tone, then the music continues playing.

I would test the device in this order;
Open your multi tasking/quick app switch screen and close all apps that are open in the background. Open it twice because some devices hold or display 7 - 10 apps that are visible but there's actually another page of up to 7 - 10 apps. You want to make sure that everything is cleared out of this list. Then have someone call you.

Did you still hear music? If so go to each of your music players, even if you don't believe that you've used them recently and force stop them. Settings>Applications>*music player>force stop, then retest.

If you still heard music restart your device in Safe Mode. This will prevent other apps from running or starting in the background. Then retest.

Welcome to Android Central! It's not entirely clear to me -- are you hearing this music while you're actually in the call, or is it only when the phone is ringing on the other end, before they've picked up?
