why does my battery life suddenly drop to zero on google pixel 3

[Android Central Question]

my battery life keeps dropping to zero and sometimes go back and forth and I am doing this at low battery while constantly charging. Any help??? had this for a year now. Also notification keeps popping up saying "Android setup" is draining battery.

It sounds like a dendrite or a loose connection. It's still under warranty, so either have it repaired, or call Google and have it replaced. (If you choose the "ship me a refurb first" option [if you have enough credit overhead for them to put a hold on that much], you can transfer everything from the one you have to the replacement during setup.)

It is only under warranty if they purchased less than a year ago
