Why does my camera not open when i double click on the right hand side button?

I was watching a youtube demonstration of some tips and tricks for the S8 and one of them was double click the r/h button to open camera quickly, it worked on his one but I can't get my one to open, can anyone help please?

You need to activate the shortcut. Go to the camera settings and make sure that the 'Quick Launch' option is active.

Do you mean the power button? Go to Settings>Advanced Features>Quick Launch Camera and toggle it on.
