Why does my charger act strange

[Android Central Question]

So i got a new phone charger for my galaxy s6. Absolutely brand new and working... for a bit. Eventually it would charge my phone for 1-2 hrs. Then it would stop for 1-2. I would plug it in somewhere else, then it would work, only for a little bit. It cant be my charger, because i compared multiple chargers. It cant be my phone because I compared multiple phones. Its not my block or outlet because i compared all different ones. Ive never seen anything like this.

Welcome to Android Central! Sorry, but when you say it can't be your charger because you compared multiple chargers -- do you mean that other chargers don't do this on your phone, and the new charger doesn't cause the problem on other phones?
