I download movies and music from my Samsung Galaxy Note 5 running Android 6.0.1 and xfer them to a USB to watch on my televion. I also have all my company files on a micro sd card which I access regularly.
various files randomly end up with changed file extentions and names.
For Example:
Marc anthony - You sang to me.mp3
has been changed to:
æarc anthony æ You sang toæme.mæ3
The files are not damaged. I just need to change them to the correct extention and they work fine but it is a hassle when a hundred, 2 hundred, etc files are changed.
Does anyone know what is causing this?
I know it is not a corrupt usb because I use 7 usbs as well as micro sd cards and it happens with them all.
