Hi all,

I played with apps' permissions (settings->apps) on my Galaxy A10s. The apps were "google"-like: gmail, "google", "google play store" and some others.
After this I tried to connect my smartphone to linux-pc ("Unable to open MTP device "001,001" )
and to windows-pc ("permission denied")

The linux-pc log:

[6031333.349261] usb 1-1: Product: SAMSUNG_Android
[6031333.349264] usb 1-1: Manufacturer: SAMSUNG
[6031333.349266] usb 1-1: SerialNumber: R9WR11AAKNJ
[6031333.615356] usb 1-1: reset high-speed USB device number 4 using xhci_hcd
[6031334.238507] usb 1-1: reset high-speed USB device number 4 using xhci_hcd
[6031339.885304] usb 1-1: USB disconnect, device number 4
[6031340.511196] usb 1-1: new high-speed USB device number 5 using xhci_hcd

[6031340.639194] usb 1-1: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=3
[6031340.639198] usb 1-1: Product: SAMSUNG_Android

[6031341.407385] usb 1-1: reset high-speed USB device number 5 using xhci_hcd

Connection via simple-mtpfs:

[root@support10 Documents]# simple-mtpfs --list-devices
1: SamsungGalaxy models (MTP)
[root@support10 Documents]# /usr/bin/simple-mtpfs --device 1 /mnt/1
LIBMTP PANIC: Trying to dump the error stack of a NULL device!

Then I run "USB debugging" via "Developer options" on my smartphone:

Mar 20 15:08:11 support10 kernel: usb 1-1: new high-speed USB device number 38 using xhci_hcd
Mar 20 15:08:11 support10 kernel: usb 1-1: New USB device found, idVendor=04e8, idProduct=6860, bcdDevice= 2.23

And I am able to connect as root with 'simple-mtpfs'-utility and with "USB debugging" on my smartphone:

[root@support10 Documents]# /usr/bin/simple-mtpfs -d --device 1 /mnt/1

My question is how to switch my smartphone on connection as a ordinary user (not root)?

Regards,

Max

Probably the problem was on linux-pc side:
...
Mar 20 15:07:20 support10 journal[1062]: CdMain: failed to emit DeviceAdded: failed to register object: An object is already exported for the interface org.freedesktop.ColorManager.Device at /org/freedesktop/Col
orManager/devices/sysfs__null_
Mar 20 15:07:37 support10 journal[3997518]: destroyed file has call_when_ready pending

...

After reboot of this linux-pc, the problem had been disappeared.
