Why does my Galaxy Note Edge keep restarting in ultra power saving mode?

Galaxy Note Edge keeps restarting in ultra power saving mode.

Hi I recently installed a system update for my Samsung Galaxy Note Edge from T-Mobile. I have had this phone since January of 2015 and have not had any sorts of problems until this recent update. I constantly uses the ultra power saving mode while I'm at work to keep my battery life full until my shifts in but lately since the update my phone will continuously restart itself while in ultra power saving mode and won't stop until I take it out. This has been a great inconvenience for me and need to find a solution to it. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can resolve this dilemma?

Welcome to Android Central! Have you already tried wiping the cache partition? https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-14759

Still having this issue. Note Edge keeps restarting over n over. tried wiping the cache on it. still has same problem. phone worked greate till i plugged in a 3rd party charger. you think it fried anything?? thanks for the help.

Did you post the OP of this thread? I'm not sure if it was you or Remarkable Bert.

Have you tried a different battery?

I posted the original post for this thread. Now I'm back to let this thread know that I'm still having the same problem and clearing the cache only solved my problem for a day.

Sorry to hear that. Try booting into Safe Mode, then see if it restarts in Ultra Power Saving Mode again. This can tell you if some 3rd party you installed is causing the problem, since Safe Mode disables all 3rd party apps. https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-14748
