Why does my Galaxy Note Edge - Keep restarting/rebooting?

Galaxy Note Edge - Keeps restarting/rebooting

My Note Edge just recently started to reboot/restart every 10 minutes or so. It does NOT reboot when I take the SIM card out and just use wifi. I got a brand new SIM card and it started rebooting again. I reformatted it and restored my phone (there could be a problem there I realize). I also cleared out the cache. I have had to put my SIM card in an old phone and just use my Note Edge on wifi. Any ideas? I'm afraid that I am going to be new phone shopping soon.

You should probably have it looked at by a professional. But yes, you may be phone shopping soon.

Or it could be your battery. I had a battery that would cause my edge to reboot until the power was down to 40% then it would stop rebooting

Mine is doing exactly the same. I had my device reset once or twice a week, but today my device is constantly restarting as soon as my device boots up. This is really annoying, I'd remove SIM card/SD card and seeing the same thing. I guess this is as good as Samsung gets. 1 year of use then bam, good luck, buy the latest $700 dollar product again... Never going to buy any Samsung product in the future.

Mine started doing the same. I have Stock AT&T.
Android: 5.1.1
Build: LMY47XN915AUCU2COI2

Started booting since two days back. Bootes voluntarily. Tried;

1. Removing SD Card.
2. Safe mode worked fine so tried removing bunch of apps, still the same
3. Did Factory Reset in recovery mode by wiping data

Still boots after a while.

Had sent to Samsung srvc center for repair. Just got the email with below details. Anybody can decipher it?

Original Problem:
OPERATION SYSTEM ISSUE - PLATFORM / SOFTWARE - BOOT UP FAILURE

Problem found:
IF/CHARGING PORT - FWT - SIDE KEY FAILURE

Solution:
REPLACED COMPONENT

If your device keeps restarting & rebooting, it's more or less your factory Samsung battery needs replced. I personally recommend that you swap out for a new Power Bear battery which you can obtain via Amazon.com. Best wishes.
