Ever since I downloaded lollipop to my tab 4 it has been randomly shutting off. It can be in any app too. I have the clean master app thinking it would help but it hasnt. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Welcome to Android Central! First, completely uninstall CleanMaster. We here at AC generally don't like that or similar apps, because (a) they are generally counterproductive, and (b) they often come with annoying adware, and sometimes behave almost like malware.
Second, try wiping the cache partition: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-11085
