Why does my google maps run sluggish and lagging [badly]?

So i bought my Mate 10 Pro 2 days ago and everything is upto date, still my google maps is running [badly]. is there any fix or is Huawei just [of poor quality]?

Tried som other Huaweis in the shop also (p10, p10 plus, honor 8 and 9) and all did run sluggish and laggy
