Headphone plug pops out

I have a earplugs which i use. couple of days ago i had this problem. i was listening to music while riding a bike and sudenly it stoped. I put it back in but the plug wont lock in. if i hold it in with finger or duct tape it plays the sound but the second i release the pressure it pops back out again. i was wondering if i have to replace the jack or maybe i can fix it myself. I also tried with different headphones but i get the same problem. I have a samsung galaxy s3 i9300

Re: Headphone plug pops out

Do you have a case on it? Sometimes a case will interfere with the headsets jack and not allow it to fully lock in. What headsets are you using? Do they have a 3.5mm plug?

I have a case but it's a flip book case so it doesn't even touch the headset plug. Yes i use a 3.5mm plug and i tried with different headsets

Welcome as a new member. :)

I believe that there is a spring inside the jack that locks the plug in place. If I'm right about that, it may be broken or dislodged.
