Question Why does my hotspot disconnect with an incoming call and can I turn this off?

This never happened with any of my Samsung phones.

I haven't seen that either on my Pixels. Does it also happen in Safe Mode? https://consumer.huawei.com/en/supp...d hold the volume,the power button to confirm.

Yeah for sure my phone disconnects. In safe mode too. So new models phone don't? Guess a MiFi is my best bet

In case it has something to do wi-fi calling interacting with the wi-fi hotspot, try turning off wi-fi calling (if it's on in the first place).
