Why does my HTC One M8 screen flicker when in a call?

HTC One M8 Screen Flickering when in Call

Whenever I call or Skype anybody my HTC one m8 has screen flickering issues.

Welcome to Android Central! Do you mean that the whole screen flickers, or only the image of the person you're calling? Does that happen on both wi-fi and mobile data?
