LG G3 continuously restarts even after factory reset

So my LG G3 is almost a year old and recently it had an issue which started about a week ago, where it kept restarting every time I opened Snapchat. This gradually increased over time to the point where I got so frustrated I ended up uninstalling the app. However, my phone continued to restart which lead to me realizing that Snapchat wasn't the actual cause of the problem. So I did some research and came across different possible solutions but unfortunately none of them worked :/ One post I found suggested it might be the battery but I'm still not sure. Earlier today my phone restarted but on a loop and I ended up factory resetting it, which I hoped would solve the issue. The phone ended up resetting but while I'm setting it up it turns off again -.- I feel like my last option is to take it in to a professional to check it out but I thought I'd try one last call for help. So would somebody please help meeee

I'd try a factory reset one more time, but it does sound like a hardware problem.

Have you tried replacing the battery?

It doesn't let me factory reset again :/

No because it only started getting really serious yesterday (I'm in New Zealand and it's 3:22am here) so I wasn't able to get a new battery :/

It really sounds like a problem I keep having. Im on my second G3 and 3rd battery (between 2 phones). Check the battery to see if it has swollen. If so its the issue and you'lll have to have it replaced. Its because too many apps are running and it kills the battery so we charge it so much and end up charging it while using it. My phone was so bad I had no choice but to remain hooked up to a charger. If it happens when the battery is showing that its got a decent charge and then it comes back on and the battery amount has changed thats definitely the issue. Just this morning i removed a lot of apps and will just use them on my tablet because with the new battery (got the replacement yesterday) charged up this morning without doing anything by the time I got to work it was at 60%. Its been pretty good since I removed those apps. These phones drain batteries and in turn make them go bad because we have to charge them often. I was wondering if anyone else had this issue.

Well the battery isn't swollen but the second scenario you described with the battery showing it being fully charged then suddenly changing to a lower percentage is definitely happening with my phone. I actually took it in today to see if the one year warranty would cover the cost of the battery being replaced and I was told by the guy who checked it out that it's a software problem so yea. I kinda feel like the problem came about because I used my phone while it was charging and too many apps ran at the same time, which was stupid of me :/

The same thing happened to me about a week ago, every time I tried to use snapchat it reset my phone.
All I did was uninstall all the apps updates, disabled it (uninstalled) and then installed it again, my phone has been fine since so give that a go.

P.S - I had an update recently which froze my phone in a boot loop but after connecting it to a computer, backing it up and letting it run it's course.....I'm all good.

Good luck.
