Why does my LG G3 keep opening random apps when I unlock it?

My LG G3 keeps opening random apps when I unlock it.

About half the time, when I unlock my phone, it opens a random app. Started with Google Play. I disabled. Then it was Google Music. I disabled again. Then it was Audible. I disabled. Now it is Amazon. I changed lock screen, disabled apps, checked settings...something is off. Any ideas?

Have you tried Safe Mode?

Welcome to Android Central! When this happens and you press the Home button, does it take a while for the homescreen to draw itself? If so, then there might be some issue with the launcher not properly opening when you get past the lockscreen. As a test, see what happens if you install an alternate launcher like Google Now Launcher, and make that the default.
