Why does my LG G3 phone keep shutting down with Invalid battery message?

why does LG G3 phone shutting down with Invalid battery message?

I have a one year old LG G3 phone. Its now shutting down by showing Invalid battery error. The battery is original and came with the phone on purchase. It was working fine and what happened all of a sudden? Tried to reboot remove battery, clean etc. It continues to give same error. Any solution? Who and where should one complain?

Welcome to Android Central! Have you already tried a new or different battery? The battery you have might have failed due to defect or other damage. Any water exposure?
