Why does my LG V20 refuse to lock on its own no matter what I do?

Hi all,

I'm having issues getting my phone to lock. I just noticed the problem now but I feel like it's been going on for a long while unnoticed since it's a backup phone.

Lock Timer: 5 seconds after timeout
Power Key Instantly Locks: On
Lock type: Fingerprint, Knock code (have also tried pattern)
Smart Lock Settings:
On body set to off
Trusted devices 0
Trusted places shows "Keep phone unlocked at home" despite the option being deactivated in the following settings screen. Home also is set to a random location 50km away from my actual home.

It doesn't seem to want to lock on its own no matter what I've tried. Any ideas on how to get it to work?

Does it lock in Safe Mode?

Are there any clues in your Device Administrators?

Welcome to Android Central! In the Smart Lock settings for Trusted Places, what happens when you tap the Home option? Do you see a prompt to "Turn off this location"?

Also, have you tried it in Safe Mode?
