Why does my Moto X Play show "e7 & OK" on the display?

My Moto X Play shows e7 & OK on the display screen from yesterday & after i click ok, it goes away? What could be the problem? Is it a virus?

It seems someone else has seen this, but we didn't find out what actually caused it.

Have you installed any new apps recently? If so, one of them may be the culprit.

If not, you could try a malware-scanning app like MalwareBytes for Android or AVG (both of which are in the Play Store).

The following article may offer some advice if it is malware (again, I can't say for sure as it's not something I'm funding a lot of info on).
