Why my Note 3 heats up so much?

I recently bought a note 3 (sm-n9005) and installed the official poland version rom of android lollipop 5.0.

First of all i rooted it, and debloadted it and then unrooted it. Then i did hard reset. I removed the following apps:

chat on, samsung link, google chrome (i never use it, i use FF), hangouts, google music, google books, paypal, ANT+, etc.

The device while it is on wifi, works fine and there is no issue. But when i use cellular data (3G), device heats up, mainly near ear piece, volume rocker buttons, and below camera.
I am quite worried as i felt i bought some faulty note 3 (bought in used). Or is it natural to get heated up while using 3G. Its quite hot in those areas, like 7/10 (where 10 is untouchable). Device doesnt heat up at all on wifi.
Just to mention, device also heated up SAME before rooting and debloating.

I also have LG G2, and it doesnt heat up even on 3G, just a little warm.
Please help me.

3G uses a LOT more battery. My guess is it's the battery causing the heating issues.
Since it's used, have you checked if the battery is an Authentic Samsung battery? A lot of 3rd party cheap batteries are known to heat up, and even explode.
That is just my opinion

Well yes that is true, the battery is 3rd party and not samsung official. There was huge price difference so i bought the cheaper one which was said to give better backup time than original. The one i bought was around 5$ and the samsung official one is around 15$. The cheaper one i bought also doesn't have NFC chip, but i never use NFC so i bought it.

The battery timing is also an issue with the phone. I tell you something in detail. I was using LG G2 previously and when i charged it at night to 100% before sleep, i woke up and the phone was still on 100% or 99% even the wifi is on. But on note 3, i charge the phone to 100% and in morning it is on 90% with wifi OFF and SAME apps n settings as on LG G2.

It's worth it to buy official Samsung batteries. I usually am all about the cheaper 3rd party. But in this case, I will not buy anything but official Samsung. I am 99% positive that is your issue.
