Why does my Note 3 shut down instead of power off?

why my note 3 shut down instead of power off ?

i have samsung galaxy note 3 n9005 and it shutt down instead off power off and it takes more time to shutt down instead of anyother galaxy note 3

"shut down" and "power off" are both the same thing - just different words to describe the same thing. Just like "Garbage" and "Trash" - different words to describe the same thing. The reason why it takes longer to shut down then other Note 3's could be due a number of different factors. Number of apps running in the background seems to be a big one I've noticed on my LG G3. I try to keep background apps as clear as possible (throughout the day I'll clear them out if I don't need them anymore) but if I haven't cleared them out for several hours, shutting down (or shutdown and restart) does seem to take longer.
