AC Question

My Galaxy Note 4 used to work perfectly with my car kit Parrot 3200ls colour but for some reason has developed a problem.
The Note 4 pairs and connects to the parrot no problem but when you make or receive a call there is no sound. The caller or callee can hear me but I hear nothing.
I have tested the Parrot 3200ls with an iPhone 6 and it works perfectly so I know it's not the Parrot at fault.
I have tested the Galaxy Note 4 with a Bury Bluetooth car kit and the same problem exist therefore it is definately the phone with a problem with bluetooth car kits.
Can anyone help me solve this problem.
I defected from Apple to Android and until this problem I was happy with Android.

Thanks in advance

Welcome to Android Central! Go to Settings>Bluetooth, tap the settings icon next to the Parrot headset, and make sure Phone Audio is checked on. If it is, and you're still having the problem, then try forgetting the headset, and go through the pairing process again.

I have tried that many times and paired with new car kits in others cars. Same problem exist. Pairs no problem, makes and receives calls no problem but there is no sound. Person at other end can hear me.

Sorry, just to clarify--you're saying that Phone Audio is checked on, right? When you said that you "tried that many times," I wasn't sure if you meant everything I had suggested, or just trying to forget the device and re-pair.

Sorry the phone audio is checked and everything you suggested I have tried many times. I have also tried factory reset. I have even downloaded an app which has good reviews and this has also had no effect.

No only have I updated the Parrot, I have tried the phone on other bluetooth car kits and the same issue exists however the Iphone 6 works fine on all of the car kits

I wonder if it's a compatibility issue with that specific phone. For example, I've seen posts about the S6 having issues with various factory-installed car Bluetooth systems (VW comes to mind), while the older S4 didn't.

Can you test out a different Android device with your Parrot?

This phone worked with the Parrot before the update. I have an OLD HTC desire that works fine with the Parrot.
It is definately the phone as this phone also does not work with a BURY Bluetooth car kit and Nokia Bluetooth car kit and a visor mounted bluetooth car kit.
The phone call doesn't work through a bluetooth speak when music does.

Ah, I don't think I knew that the phone had received a recent system update. It's more likely to be a glitch in the firmware. You could try reinstalling the firmware using Smart Switch.
