Why does my Note 5 lag with the simplest of tasks?

Just going between the 2-3 home screens my Note 5 lags. Just swiping the home screen from the left to the right and back I can see the clock / weather reloading/lagging. :-\

What could be my problem?

You could have a lot of applications running at a time, so you might want to close them all (I assume you know how). Also, you might have applications running in the background sucking up performance and battery. You can end those in Settings.

Try to do a factory data reset and don't install any apps and see if you still have the problem . if you do then get it replaced.

First try, shutting off and restarting, clearing your cashe and then open the phone in safe mode. If the lag goes away you then have to find the offending app and delete it. Good luck, I have over a hundred apps on my note 5 and have to lag at all.

Yea, it's not bad enough to return the phone or do a factory reset. I'll see if clearing the cache will help.

menu, setting, storage, tap on cache.

You can get "The Cleaner" app which will monitor and tell you if you need to clear cache and other things to keep the phone from lagging.
