Why does my phone battery die so fast?

I just brought a brand new galaxy s7 and the battery goes down too fast in my opinion. Its been 30 minutes and its gone down 10%. Is this normal? Im new to smart phones so im not very sure.

That sounds way too fast. Take it back to shop and get it checked (under warranty i imagine). You should get nearly a day even in marginal reception areas
