Why does my phone do this when I plug it in to charge?

I own a Samsung galaxy s6 edge and I've been having a problem with it. Whenever I would want to plug it in to charge the power button would stop working and if I pressed the home button or moved my cord it would automatically boot me to the internet app. The only buttons working are the volume ones. Does anyone know what the problem is or what has caused it? This is my second phone and I don't want to replace it again.

First thing to do when you have any issues is cache partition wipe.
If you still have issues, I'd dial *#0*# to get service mode and check out the hardware.
If you only have issues with charger plugged in, you might want to try a different usb cable...

pls change another charging cable to have a look whether it is the problem of teh cable.
