Why does my phone have 2 horizontal arrows?

Can you attach a screen shot to show us? it could be to do with an app running in the background or something downloading etc, but without seeing it, it would be a stab in the dark

it is probably VoLTE (voice over LTE). If you disable mobile data, after a while, it should disappear. I think, having a device from the UK I haven't really seen that before

I believe that's new service in UK called something like super real voice. It started on 10-th of September and slowly spreading around the country. If phone call is being made between 2 mobile phones with this icon supposedly voice clarity will be superb and crispy clear in compare with standard mobile phone line.

Yes you have super-voice which allows you to make calls over the 4g network. Which should not only improve voice clarity but should give you call and data signal in areas that were previously black spots as three are using a new 800mhz band
