Why does my phone switch off when i turn on the internet?

[Android Central Question]

I have a poco F1 and recently it keeps turning off I tried calibrating it and what not and realised it only turns off when I turn on the net. If I have my net on before like around 70% it will shut off but if I don't have it on I can use it without my phone switching off. Please help

What do you mean by calibrate it? Have you tried factory reset?

Welcome to Android Central! After it shuts off and you power back on, is the battery significantly lower? If so, I would suspect a failing battery. The phone is 4 years old, so this would not be unusual.
