Android Central Question

So, my phone just got this weird behavior where the vibration for notifications, calls, and keyboard presses, weren't working unless the phone was in angle where it's faced down in the ground which in case it works when you're lying down in bed. The vibration doesn't work when I'm using the phone in an upright position, for the life of me can't conclude that the vibration motor is broken, since I tested the motor using a vibration test, and it works perfectly with the same haptic strength on how I remember how it should be.

Welcome to Android Central! The vibration motor is one of two moving parts in a phone (the other being the camera autofocus mechanism). It surprises me that it doesn't fail more frequently. Bring the phone to a repair shop, if it bothers you enough.
