Why does my QI Wireless Charging stop at 50 or 60 (used to go to 100)?

QI Wireless Charging Stops at 50% or 60% (used to go to 100%) HELP!

I installed the coil/nfc combo inside the back cover, and purchased TWO 3-coil wireless chargers (for home & work).
Both worked great for a few weeks.

Then, all of a sudden my home-charger stopped charging at about 50%.
At work, I noticed it would charge only if had about 30% remaining, but if it was over 50%, the blue light on the charger would not light up, and indeed it would not charger.

If the charger contacts were not properly aligned, I would have thought it would not charge AT ALL.

What could account for it to not want to charge above 50%?

I had tried the CHOE qi 3 coil charger for my car and it didnt work at all for me. However, the RAV 3 coil qi charger for my house works so great I got three and all still going strong after about a month. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU4789324

I can't say why, but I can tell you I had the same experience with my circle case. It worked great for a few weeks then would stop charging anywhere from 25% to 80%...

I have that charger and it is very inconsistent and hard to line up.

All of a sudden, it started working again!

I don't know if it has anything to do with the following:

A few days ago, my phone got really hot for no reason. No apparent apps were running out of control. I rebooted a few times and it didn't help. Eventually I removed the battery, waited a while, and at some point thereafter things settled down.

Then a few days after that, on a whim, I retried the wireless charger and it worked to 100%

SOLUTION FOUND: when I pressed the phone back where the charing pins were, it started working to 100%.

That really surprised me because I thought it would either make contact and charge, or not. Charing partially then stopping seemed unlikely.

But, I confirmed it twice. The last time it was only going to 70%. I took back off, back on, then smooshed where the pins are, and it immediately lit up the charger and went to 100%.

I'm so happy to be wireless charging again!
