Why does my S7 edge wireless charging pad no longer display blue light under the pad when charging

When I charge my S7 edge on the wireless charging pad the blue light that indicates the phone is charging and the green light that indicates the phone is fully charged does not display under the wireless charging pad but the phone still charges.

Probably something wrong on the board that the lights are on, or a broken or loose wire.
