Why does my S8 keep turning the volume down on its own?

When I'm listening to music or watching videos, the volume will randomly turn down on its own to where I can barely hear it, but when I go to turn it up, the volume level on the bar hasn't changed. It happened while I was using the bluetooth in my car too. After a couple minutes, the volume goes back up.

When I hit the volume button, it says it's at the same volume and I have to turn it all the way up to hear it. After a couple minutes of not messing with it, the volume restores.

How often does it happen? If it's frequent, you can try booting into Safe Mode to see if it goes away -- if it does, that means something you installed is causing the problem. You'd have to uninstall apps one by one until the problem goes away. https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-34283
