Why does my s8+ unlock a lot slower using fingerprint sensor when it's plugged?

i just purchased this phone a couple of weeks ago and i've never noticed how it unlocked (using the fingerprint sensor) slower compared to when it is unplugged. it is kind of annoying when i have to literally unplug the cable just to have my phone unlock instantly. am i the only one having this issue?

I don't know if you're the only one, but I just checked with my S8+. There is no noticeable difference unlocking with the FP reader or Iris scanner when plugged in or not plugged in.

It may make no difference, but have you tried running the Device Maintenance to see if it clears anything up?
