Why does my S9+ speaker sound so muffled

[Android Central Question]

When I play a video or anything with sound it's so muffled and scratchy. I can call someone just fine, but I've tried putting paper towel in the slot but it only helps for so long. WHAT DO I DO I NEED HELP??

Try clearing your microphone, and speaker with tooth brush or similar. The s9 did have this issue .
