Welcome to Android Central.

What do your battery stats show to be using charge during these periods?
Also, if this has been getting gradually worse, rather than occurring as a sudden change, you could simply need a new battery.

Re: my samsung galaxy s4 battery drain in idle mode

3.75% per hour is about 26 hours from full charge to 0 charge (which you should never do - 40% is the lowest you should let a battery go, which would give you almost 16 hours). Most people are glad to get 8 hours on a charge if they let the battery go down to 20%.

Charge the phone to 100%. Let it idle until it's down to about 75%-80%. Then post screen shots of the battery page (Settings/General/Battery) and the next page (tap the graph to get to the second page). See How To Post Screenshots on Android Central. Then we'll have some idea of whether your battery usage looks anything like normal.
