Why does my samsung galaxy s5 mini keep on freezing???

I've had my Samsung galaxy s5 mini since April/may time 2015 and it has been working fine other than occasionally freezing or randomly restarting but for the past 2 days my phone has been unusable because around every 5/10 minutes it keep on freezing so I have to take out the battery and then restart the phone.... ive done this minimum of 20 times in the past 12 hours... is it just me or do other people also have this problem??? I realy like this phone but sometimes I feel like throwing it at a wall... Help please ;-;

Try first a Cache Partition wipe.
Tell us what that does. If no go, we can suggest other things.

Thanks.... luckily I had enough time to do that before my phone froze but after I reset it it hasn't froze yet... finally my phone works again! thanks... P.S. I'm the poster of the question I just forgot to create an account before... silly me

Ah. Let's throw some more things at it.

Try Settings, Storage, Cached Data, and clear the cache.
If no go, try Safe Mode, to test whether a third-party app is causing trouble.
If no go, and you are using a microSD card, try unmounting and removing it.
If no go, a backup of your personal data followed by a Factory Reset may be indicated. If so, let us know if you need advice about that.
