AC Question

So randomly my Galaxy S6 just won't charge at all (not even regular cable charge). I assumed it was either the USB cable or the adaptive fast charger. So I tried charging my S6 through my laptop and it works, although it's no longer recognized and says it has malfunctioned on my laptop, yet it still charges. It did charge through my Xbox one also for a couple of days but now it doesn't... The problem is I can still charge other things through the adaptive fast charger (I tested with an Xbox One battery pack), but it will just not charge my phone. I bought a new, genuine Samsung Galaxy S6 USB cable today and I've still got the same problem... So is it a software problem, or is something there wrong with my adaptive fast charger?

Welcome to Android Central! I'd suspect the phone's microUSB port. Inspect it carefully--is there any debris in there? Use a can of compressed air to blow it out, or a toothpick to root around. If the problem persists, the port itself might be faulty, in which case it would need to be replaced.
