Why does my Samsung S7 play music automatically?

Hi,

Just recently noticed that my S7 plays music automatically when I have my earphones plugged in. It seems like a glitch with the phone. I haven't changed any settings. It even plays music when I'm not within my music app and randonly brings up S-Voice. When I unplug my earphones, the problem goes away. Would appreciate a reason and any solutions. Thanks.

Check in your music app, you may have autoplay on...

Thanks for the reply. I haven't enabled auto-play. It also brings up S-Voice randomly when headphones are plugged in.

Hmmm... I can't reproduce it in my S7 here.. There was a thread with that tune playing at random times and deleting that silly wallflower or whatever it was called fixed that issue for the posters.
Does it play your music, or some canned Samsung tune?

It plays my music. It also keeps bringing up S-Voice and Google voice and and asking me to choose one or the other to open.

A mystery. Try the old wipe cache partition thing..

Try a different head phone. I wonder if the home button on the headphones are malfunctioning.

Look at your headset settings, change your earphone auto play to play manually

pls check whether your music app is on the first front page. It may be touched by you accidently.
