Why does my Samsung Tab 2 no longer enable me to send email to spam?

samsung tab 2 no longer enables me to send e mail to spam

My tablet will allow me to hit the icon to send e mail to spam, but when you attempt to block the domain or the sender there is only a cancel button. Then e-mail just stops.
