T-Mobile Samsung galaxy s sometimes need to restart to unfreeze. Help stop the Screen freezing.

Welcome to Android Central! Try wiping the cache partition, which won't erase any personal data: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-9478.

The Galaxy S is a very old phone (almost 6 years now!), so it's also possible that the hardware is just starting to deteriorate.

If you have been using it for a long time, I would suggest that you backup data and do a factory data reset and don't install any apps to see if you still have the same problem, assuming that the clear cache doesn't work
