Tab S 10.5, camera stops transmitting during Hangouts
Been seeing a weird issue in the last few weeks with my Galaxy Tab S 10.5. Every time doing video calls in Hangouts, the person I'm talking with can see me for a few seconds, sometimes just a couple, rarely up to 15 seconds. Then their image of me freezes. I can still see them, and audio both directions continues to work. If I toggle my camera off, they get the black screen with blue icon, but when I toggle the camera back on, they still just get the black screen with blue icon.
If I rotate my tablet between portrait and landscape orientation, the camera will start working again. The person I'm talking with will see me again, for another few seconds until it freezes again.
This happens regardless who I'm video calling with, and that and the fact that rotating my tablet gets it working again (briefly) so it's clearly an issue with my device. Anyone seeing anything like this and found a solution? Or suggestions on how to start trouble shooting.
Recording a video locally with the Camera app works. Tablet's been kept up to date. Very few apps installed. Started noticing this in the last few weeks, but I don't video call that often so not sure exactly when it might have broken.
