Why does my ubication not work on strava on the watch?

[Android Central Question]

I am using the strava app on my Samsung Galaxy active watch.

The location is not recognized as active by strava and therefore I cannot record actovotoes..

It is activated on the watch and also on my Xiaomi mi9 SE phone (even though it should not have to rely on any mobile due to GPS chip).
