It's happened about 5 or 6 times now. I'll post the screenshots of what it changes to and what it should look like. Very weird as this has never happened before. Any ideas?

Mine too.... It seems to be that when I restart the phone,it goes back to the default wallpaper. I think it started after the Lollipop update.

How is that done?

To wipe the cache partition, follow these steps:

Turn the device off.
Press and hold the following three buttons at the same time:
Volume Up key
Home key
Power key.
When the phone vibrates, release the Power and Home key but continue to press and hold the Volume Up key.
Continue holding the Volume Up key until the Android System Recovery menu displays and then release. This step may take several seconds.
Press the Volume Down key to highlight 'wipe cache partition.'
Press the Power key to select.
When the wipe cache partition is complete, 'Reboot system now' is highlighted.
Press the Power key to restart the device.

How are you setting your wallpaper? Are you going into gallery choosing the wallpaper and setting it as your wallpaper? I do this and never had it change on me. I seem to remember reading somewhere when you go through phone settings to set the wallpaper it doesn't stick.

I've lately just been long pressing on the home screen and selecting it from there. Maybe that's why.

Well, after wiping the cache partition and setting the wallpaper through gallery and Google Photos, it reverted to default again. Now I'm stumped.

No fudging way! I've done it once back in March and setting up my phone again was no fun. I mean, if I absolutely have to, then maybe.

I use Nova Launcher myself so factory resetting a phone is not a big deal to me. I back up my all my home screens and I am good to go. Log in and my phone downloads all the apps that were on there before. When it is done, I hit restore from back up and I am good to go.

I've always wanted to try Nova Launcher. I found out that someone else was having the same issue with the wallpaper and said it was because of Facebook's beta progtam. I just downloaded the latest release. Let's see if that fixes it.

But will this reset the entire phone ?
